Our favorite season is picnic season and it's on the horizon. Company picnics are not only fun but they bring an incredible sense of comradery and cohesion among teams. Many clients use their yearly event as a way to thank their employees for all of their hard work and dedication, and what they find is that people work harder when they feel appreciated. To kick off your company picnic, here are some of our favorite additions starting with a multi-talented stilt walker! What better way to welcome guests than with this larger than life entertainer?

This year Event Kings decided to go big or go home! When the corporate picnic season came the trend was over-sized classics like billiards, darts, chess, traffic jam and Jenga. Even our entertainment was larger than life. For one of our corporate carnival events a 10' stilt-walker roamed the event both setting the tone and wowing the guests. Dressed as a ring leader, this interactive entertainment elevated the party.

 Our giant billiards proved to be a big hit at our company picnics for guests of all ages. All you need is space for this interactive game, we bring the rest. Players roll the balls into the pockets and have opportunities to hit others out of the way.

Our giant inflatable dart board makes a statement and provides endless fun. No sharp points here! Guests throw cones and try to hit the bulls-eye.

Our giant chess game is not only a fun twist on the classic game but it also beautiful decor for your event. Guests move the light weight pieces to their places and try to capture their opponents King!


Jenga is the ultimate party game and this giant version makes it even better! Reaching over five feet high at the end, this competitive game draws in spectators, making this game not only fun for the player but entertainment for all guests.


Our giant Traffic Jam game is perfect for teambuilding and fun events alike. Your goal is to escape the traffic jam and get your car through the exit.

Even our balloons were big this year! These three foot balloons were a simple but elegant way to fill a big tent. Adding color and height, these balloons provide a wow factor at a reasonable price.

Don't Forget the Kids
If a company chooses to include the families of their team members make sure to have activities and entertainment for them as well. Our carnival games attract kids of all ages and with prizes for participation everyone has fun! It's also a good idea to offer a craft that acts as a keepsake as well.

When companies combine teambuilding into their picnic they see more return on their investment. Games and challenges that encourage teams to work together achieves a few goals; one being that it brings staff from various departments together for a day. Another great benefit is that it forces teams to flex their problem solving skills while having fun.

There is also the option of using a "Fall Festival" theme as a reward for your employees as a late-season alternative to the outdoor picnic that we discussed last time. Event Recap - Parking Lot Party!

It's no surprise to us when clients say they have to cut back on their events this year. One great way to do this is use your office space or, in this case, the parking lot. Have a section roped off and rent a tent, tables and chairs. You (meaning us ;) can bring in the food and entertainment. 
TIP: Instead of renting a second tent we ordered umbrella tables. It gives the guests a shady place to sit at a fraction of the cost!

 
Here management staffed the carnival booths. It not only reduced the cost but it brought different levels of management together.
 
Caricaturists were a great source of entertainment for the guests. 
And it gave them something to remember the day.
Water Balloon Toss is a great game to cool everyone off and bring much needed laughter to the group.
