Our favorite season is picnic season and it's on the horizon. Company picnics are not only fun but they bring an incredible sense of comradery and cohesion among teams. Many clients use their yearly event as a way to thank their employees for all of their hard work and dedication, and what they find is that people work harder when they feel appreciated. To kick off your company picnic, here are some of our favorite additions starting with a multi-talented stilt walker! What better way to welcome guests than with this larger than life entertainer?

This year's Keyfood mega trade show held at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum was themed 70's mania! Our decor and entertainment set the tone for this year's theme. Our rainbow arch and tie-dye balloons were the perfect wow statement for the entrance along with disco dancers, roller skaters and even Richard Simmons!

Our larger than life stilt walker disco dancers wore customized costumes for the event. They made a splash in the extra large venue.

Our center lit stage held performances. This one was by our expert contortionist who performed on a mirrored disco ball.

Our disco themed roller skaters skated around all day interacting with guests and keeping the groovy feel of the event stayin alive.

The classic company picnic has been going on for years. For many businesses both small and large, the summer party is a tradition, a staple and an integral part of their corporate culture. It's a day when employees and their families come together to celebrate success, accomplishments and being part of a team that wants to give back. At every one of our corporate picnic events we strive to bring a balance of fun and games for guests of all ages to enjoy. We do that with a mix of larger than life entertainment, classic carnival tents and nostalgic lawn games reimagined for a new and fresh take.

 Our vibrant carnival tents are a perfect staple for any family picnic. For one, it is a beautiful piece of decor on an empty field. Secondly, it provides fun for a wide age range. For the little ones we provide step stools and many chances so they feel like a winner. For the more mature children, these games are a welcomed break from technology.

A great DJ and classic games are a great way to involve the adults and children. Plus, who doesn't love a water balloon toss on a hot summer day? Moreover, a DJ can entertainment a large amount of people with games like these.

Our giant billiards game is a great spin on a classic game. Played with your feet, this pool game is different and enjoyable.

Crafts are great interactive fun that allows kids to express their creativity. Spin art is a always popular as guests pour paint onto a spinning canvas. At this event frisbees were the canvas.

Our pop-a-shot basketball hoops are jut one more options for guests to be entertained and have fun! This add-on item is an easy form of entertainment for guests of all ages.

What makes an event truly memorable? For some its the food, the dancing or the decor. For most it's something they have never seen before! That unforgettable moment is usually created by a form of entertainment that is unique and amazing. This becomes especially important at events that are asking for donations and that want to make their guests feel truly important. Gala fundraisers and employee recognition events greatly benefit from that WOW factor entertainment.


When we were asked to produce an event at Capitale in NYC the theme was "Sky's the Limit" and instantly we envisioned our aerialist performers hanging from the 65 foot high ceilings. The amazing mini shows throughout the night brought the party to a new level. Guests raved about the performances for days after the event. 

We upgraded an average Sweet 16 to a memorable event with this larger than life stilt walker for this Roaring 20's theme. Her presence excited the guests and got them up and on the dance floor. 

For a corporate holiday party with an Alice in Wonderland theme, we had a live table! This Queen of Hearts inspired live statue stood with the cocktail hour food and livened up the event. 
At a grand opening of new development, we had a bubble performer!

A Fresh Look



At Event Kings, Trade Shows are one of our favorite types of events to produce.  A trade show is basically an organized exhibit  for companies in a specific industry to showcase and demonstrate their products or services.

These events can be fairly mundane and generic on their own, but with the help of Event Kings, we can liven it up and get every guest involved and excited to be there.  Each year we produce numerous trade shows that everyone loves because we give each show an exciting and unique theme.

Last week, for a food show for a supermarket chain with stores all over the Tri-State area, we chose an amazing Arabian Nights theme .  We picked a color scheme of teal, purple and gold. We set up a beautiful Arabian Nights scene for guests to take photos with exciting performers such as a snake charmer, sword swallower, contortionist and an Arabian stilt walker.

In addition to all of the fun the guests and vendors had - we did do some good as well. For this food show, we partnered our client and Long Island Food Bank, Island Harvest together so at the end of the event, vendors are able to donate their surplus of food to Island Harvest's food rescue and delivery program.

According to Island Harvest, we donated 7,089 pounds of food to the organization which supplemented 5,907 meals all over Long Island.

Last Weekend Event Kings Celebrated Independence Day on July 5th with Southampton Fresh Air Home's 26th Annual American Picnic.

Southampton Fresh Air Home is an amazing summer camp for physically challenged children.They are truly caring and dedicated people working towards a good cause. To learn more about them go to Southampton Fresh Air Home



 
With Red & White Striped Tents lining the entrance of the Event- it really set a mood of Carnival and Fun. Some of the entertainment we provided was Carnival Booths, Craft Booths, Mini Golf Station, Inflatables Bounces and Obstacle Courses, DJ/MC, Stilt Walker, and of course Popcorn & Cotton Candy!



The Kids (and parents too!) had a blast with the array of entertainment throughout the day. Southampton Fresh Air Home ended the beautiful day with an AMAZING Firework Show by Grucci and Sound Associates.





We had an absolutely incredible time producing this event, and can't wait for the 27th Annual!

New York Racing Association  & Event Kings are continuing in the Family Fun Day Sundays, and this week's theme will be a State Fair.
