Keyfood is Giving Back
In the Spirit of Thanksgiving- we wanted to highlight a company that really gives back- Keyfood.
Giving Back to the Customers
This year was Keyfood's 75th Anniversary- In honor of 75 years of business they decided to treat their customers.
At each event they gave out FREE hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn, ice cream and other fun foods to their customers. Event Kings cooked and served the food, but all food was supplied by Keyfood.
At every Customer Appreciation Event there was either a Stilt Walker, Balloon Artist, Clown or Magician to entertain guests of all ages. A lot of Keyfood customers came down to go for their weekly food shop and walked away with a huge smile on their face. Others brought the whole family down to enjoy the event.
Keyfood also gave back to the community in another big way. Twice a year Keyfood holds a large Food Showcase. Keyfood Stores and Vendors bring in their food products to showcase and take orders for future seasons. At the end of the events there is always an excess of food left over. Keyfood and the Vendors donate all excess food to Island Harvest to fight hunger.
Go Keyfood! Keep up the Great Work-
Thanksgiving is a great time to help out the people in need. And many people can't afford to buy a Turkey for Thanksgiving.

Fall Festivals
Pumpkins, Scarecrows & Hay Rides
Its that time of the year again- Pumpkin Picking, Hay Rides and Scarecrows. What better time of year to go to a Fall Festival, or better yet- Have Your Own!
Fall is Here- and its very exciting as we are in the midst of planning a bunch of different Fall Festivals for our clients. Here are some of our Fall Festival Favorites!
When you think of Fall whats the first thing you think of? I know I think of PUMPKINS! One of our specialties for Fall Festivals is bringing an entire Pumpkin Patch to your Event. Guests enter the pumpkin patch and get to stroll around and find the perfect pumpkin for them to take home.
After the kids have picked out their pumpkin they take it over to the
Craft Station. This is where we clean the pumpkins and let the kids
decorate the pumpkins with markers and stencils.
Here is a pictures of kids using their artistic skills to decorate their pumpkins.
There has to be a Scarecrow, otherwise it wouldn't be a Fall Festival. We set up a Kid-Friendly Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt, where kids run around from scarecrow to scarecrow matching up pictures and numbers. Everyone receives a nice reward of Halloween Candy in the end.

Two of the Fall Festivals we are planning and producing are for NYRA at Belmont Race Track. These Events are open to the Public and will be held on Saturday October 20th and Saturday October 27th from 12- 4 PM.
We will have a Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt, Pumpkin Patch, Fall Themed Arts & Crafts Stations, Horse Drawn Hay Rides, and a Live Pumpkin Carver- carving a 100 lb pumpkin!

Team Building Adventures
Scavenger Hunts

In true Team Building Fashion, we succeeded in bringing another set of employees closer and happier with one of our famous Scavenger Hunts.
How it Works:
We customize the clues for whatever town you are holding your Team-building Event in. We also send Team Building professionals to help guide your employees.
All teams get a form of Team Identification- in the below Events we used different color bandannas. Helps the teams bond together!
Each team then receives their own unique set of riddles and clues that will lead them around the town. As they figure out each clue they race to the location described in the riddle and snap a photo with the Polaroid we provide them with. The more creative the photo the Better!

This group even made up Team Names- Yellow Team was the Honey Boo Boos &
Camouflage Team was the self proclaimed Swat.
After the teams have solved all their riddles and taken pictures they rush back to the finish line. Our Team Building Professionals then tally up all the points and furnish a Winner!
Although the teams become very competitive, it doesn't really matter to them who wins in the end. They have spent the day having fun with their co-workers forming new bonds.
I'd say that is a successful Team Building Event!

Vintage Chic Wedding Floral

Another Flower Friday Post!
A few weeks ago King Lily Floral did some amazing work for a friend's Wedding. The Bride was originally from Upstate NY, which helped shape the design of her wedding. The wedding had a Barn Glam/ Vintage Chic feel to it.
The Bride's Bouquet was made of Bright Pink Peonies, Billy Balls (Yellow) and Dusty Miller.
Instead of normal seating cards, the Bride & Groom decided to put all seating arrangements in a vintage looking picture frame. Accompanying the Seating Chart was the Guest Sign in Book. We brought in a splash of color with the small floral pieces and made a beautiful focal point.
Our Floral Designer and her Husband created this beautiful piece. Inspired by a Vintage Barn look, this wooden box held a hanging floral pomander below and glass bottles that spelled out LOVE on top. Each glass bottle held a flower that was used in the bouquets and centerpieces.
With the Bridesmaids dressed in Blue, it makes the bright colored bouquets really POP. The Bride wanted bright bouquets and especially centerpieces to brighten up the venue.

Instead of the traditional basket with flower petals, the four flower girls carried floral pomanders made of pink and cream mums. It was a refreshing change to the usual flower girl.

Overall shot of the Room with the Centerpieces and a close up of the centerpiece. We used most of the same flowers as the bouquet with a few extras like white hydrangea and pail yellow spider mums. All the centerpieces were made in vintage Milk Glass Compotes.

This was a Tropical Themed Event were we brought in everything from the Tent, to the Paper Lanterns, to Carnival Tents to Inflatables.
Our Tent- Which housed a DJ, Calypso Band, Dancing, Games & Seating for Guests.

We lined the edge of the field with tents that held a variety of different entertainment for all the guests. Included Caricaturists, Airbrush Artists, Arts & Crafts and More
